剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     【210920】5.5-不及预期。剧本应该是本片最薄弱的一环，中段的氛围还挺好的，结局拉胯。角色设置都像是搞笑的，莫名其妙的“反派”跟一厢情愿地相信公路上全是好人的一众配角属实不像是东木老爷子电影里的角色。小演员的表演也远不能让我信服这个故事。

    这次终于没有人死了。近些年老东木的电影看起来是无限的套路，也充满着无解的人生选择题，就像他自己说的：你以为自己什么都懂，老了却发现什么事都没有答案，等你找到答案却为时已晚。在夜色中抽动嘴角哽咽着回忆自己伤心往事的画面好熟悉……

    除了得佩服老爷子那么健康，又导又演，真是说不出别的了。90多岁还能在西部这么折腾，拍的还是公路片，真不容易，绝对是前无古人后无来者。但影片故事确实一般般，节奏也太平缓，那个少年也表现平平，没有太多亮眼之处。

    3.5，墨西哥被表现为一个西部版的LA，当Rafael的母亲在玛雅复兴别墅中对伊斯特伍德说“Go out”时，也是比佛利山上的好莱坞对伊斯特伍德的拒绝，而对于他而言，这些被表现成了一个Abusing mother，以及重启了西部片中的美/墨结构。《哭泣的男人》在西部片的大远景和90年代的Thriller桥段背后是对《完美的世界》的精神翻拍，但似乎比90年代多了某种落魄与孤寂，来自他对于政治理想的失望。但就影片本身而言，一切都似乎过于扁平，就连某些功能性角色也没有发挥好自己的作用。在他《老爷车》时期的影片结尾，他往往选择安排一场死亡，但在这里，90+的伊斯特伍德不得不像他扮演的这位曾经的牛仔，面对自己不再是救世主的事实。
