The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. B— / 柔软的像午夜电台一样，观众为穿梭的旅人，对于八十年代的回溯不仅是场景发生的时间背景，朦胧的影像质感，适时的音乐，粗糙而变换的复古切片等形式上的变换，都在试图召回这种怀旧情绪，召回对城市的情感。
是我喜欢的那种电影，我反思，我就是喜欢好看的东西，用温柔的方式去抒写创伤，还有瞬时的感受，奇妙的化学反应。INFP，永远没出息。

不好说氛围营造的手法是否算讨巧，但情境来源于种种故事型，细节恰恰在被拉远的时间里模糊了。喜欢Talulah临近结尾睡醒后流泪那段，它证明了美好的回忆同样也是疼痛的回忆。
