The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 故事本身的立意很好，但是电影版拍摄手法实在是让人看得尴尬……突然唱歌（甚至有些地方并不好听）真的不适合放在电影里，结尾也挺突兀的。或许音乐剧原版的会更好吧

事件被快速地按固定模式推进着，像是再不说出来就说不出来了
把所有证人和律师通通收买了，一丁点希望都不给他们。不过估计这戏也是过不了审了，只能自己慢慢欣赏。
所以，腐败的，到底是体制、还是人本身呢？ps：配乐和节奏真的是不错！单纯就看完当下的观感体验来说，7分以下是不是给的太低了？
之前看过英大吉解说真实事件过程，没想到这就有电影了。只顾着自己幸福，漠视他人的生命，看的时候一直在思考，正义的手真的能在那些自私的人头上挥下制裁的拳头吗？受害者能做的，只有坚持不懈的呼喊，微小的力量积累起来，变得振聋发聩。

细想想，世界人口60亿，作为其中之一，真的是小到可以忽略不计，足够渺小和无用。
结局反转，我还以为那个男的哭是因为好不容易升官了紧接着就完蛋了😂

故事挺好，可惜拍的犹如流水账，清汤寡水……
翻转过于儿戏，不可信，还无间道呀？结尾过于煽情，过度追求戏剧效果。相比《黑水》《永不妥协》《水侯曼荼罗》这类的片子差的不是一点半点，集中了韩国片的很多缺点。片名叫“加湿器消毒剂杀人”更准确些。
“我们在这里，我们是证据。”民众诉讼资本巨鳄化工巨头的真实故事和《黑水》如出一辙，同《黑水》将视角放在集体诉讼的艰难与漫长不同，本质上是父亲复仇故事的《空气杀人》也充满了韩影近些年的左翼英雄特色。
作为真实事件给3星吧……叙事单薄 过分煽情 适得其反
理想化的设定太多有点脱离真实感，但总体还是可以. 他们蒙住了我们的嘴，但韩国至少还有电影.
韩国类型片水准中等之作 无亮点 结尾有被震撼
细思极恐，那些看不见的黑手最为恐怖，利益熏心。反观一下现在的疫情还有检测机构，能正义履职尽责的又有多少？上层决策底层执行，需要的不仅仅是执行，论证和怀疑过吗？
大众商品出了问题后果真的很严重，可怕的是人们或许根本无法把这些不幸联想起来。
舞台上一个人solo可能还行，放电影里无聊又漫长，视听语言过于单一。给指条明路：出官摄。
政客，财团，商人，律师，一个个，一伙伙，熙熙攘攘，皆为利来！中产家庭，光鲜的活着，遇到家庭变故，一朝回到解放前。电影节奏感欠缺！
