The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 65分/挺不错的，残疾运动员的困境讲的有深度，妈妈说你天生残疾没人会怪你，但别人责怪我对你太狠心。这段自我剖析虽然点到为止，但其实含义深刻。缺点就是妈妈有时候会喊口号式的的撒鸡汤。
第三幕是重头戏，道出很多无奈和挣扎，然后又是怎样从中找到方向。前面的戏略显煽情，然而瑕不掩瑜，应该要多些这种有关怀有温度有鼓舞同时也有思考的电影，这才是香港电影的质地。

两个主要演员确表现出色，真的扮演出来了母亲与残障儿子之间的动人感情，以演技已经能够让人动情。
其实是神奇小子的神奇妈妈。少年时代的演员演的最好。
有些地方过分煽情，但……残奥运动员拿这么多块金牌还过得这么苦真是太惨了……很久没在电影院看港产片，由此认识了一位好演员梁仲恒和一位好歌手柳应廷。

先杨后抑，第一次夺冠后感动的一塌糊涂，后面比较平了，回到了现实问题：一个正常运动员退役后求生都困难，何况一个残疾运动员了。
一直觉得一块奥运会金牌可以保证一辈子衣食无忧，看来我错了。
吴君如的母亲形象yyds，必须是原音才更能体会其中的情感。
吴君如这个妆造实在是太出戏了，运动员在那个时候确实有点惨。今年举重冠军也都开始接广告了，开心😊
小时候担心长不大，长大担心不能融入社会，还怕老了没人照顾他，一辈子都得生活在这种惶恐中。
看之前以为是妈妈激励孩子拿冠军的故事，原来是拿了冠军之后依然一地鸡毛的故事
影片的故事很励志、很热血，却始终难以让人相信。
2.母子情
香港选送奥斯卡的电影，望着妈妈，Set Go！不同年龄段的演员演的都非常好，妈妈和儿子最后那段争吵，感情流露的非常真挚。
中规中矩，吴君如发挥稳定，胜在真实的人物做支撑好很多。
